Everything you expect from a messaging app.

Reply to any message or react with an emoji. Voice messages come with a waveform you can scrub.

Send photos, files and voice notes. Your device encrypts each one before it uploads.
Your phone does not need to stay online for rhema to work on your computer.

02 Calls

Calls for up to 32 people.

Voice and video calls are end-to-end encrypted and hold up on weak connections.

Audio and video are encrypted on your device.
The media server forwards streams it cannot decode.

03 Groups

Groups of up to 1,024 people.

Run polls in a group and share files up to 2 GB.

When someone leaves a group, they cannot read anything sent after they left.
A new member cannot read messages sent before they joined.

Your conversations stay between the people in them.

Messages are encrypted on your device before they leave it. The server can see who a message is for and when it was sent. It cannot read what it says.

Questions

Can SiliconBlast read my messages?

No. Keys are created on your devices and never leave them unencrypted. SiliconBlast does not hold a copy, so we could not read your messages even if we were asked to.

What can the server see?

The server sees your account details, which chats you are in, when messages are sent and how large they are. It cannot see message text, file contents, photos, voice notes, reactions or what is said on calls. Push notifications carry no message content.

How do I check who I am talking to?

Every pair of people in rhema shares a safety number. Compare it in person or over a call. If the numbers match on both phones, you know no one is sitting in the middle of your conversation.

Is there an app for my phone or computer?

rhema runs in your browser today. The desktop and mobile apps are on the way, and your account will work on all of them.

Can my organization run its own rhema?

Yes. SiliconBlast installs rhema on servers you control, in your cloud or your own data centre, and keeps it running. Your people use the same apps.
